Job Description / Responsibility

Head of Business & Strategy

The Head of Business & Strategy will be responsible for driving the organization’s strategic vision, business growth, market expansion, partnership development, and innovation agenda. The role requires a highly analytical and commercially focused leader who can identify growth opportunities, build strategic partnerships, lead cross-functional initiatives, and develop sustainable business models that support the company’s long-term objectives.

The incumbent will work closely with senior management, product, technology, operations, compliance, and external stakeholders to ensure the successful execution of strategic initiatives and business transformation programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and execution of short-term and long-term corporate strategic plans.
• Develop business growth strategies aligned with the company’s vision, market opportunities, and financial objectives.
• Conduct market research, competitive intelligence, and industry analysis to identify emerging trends and growth opportunities.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with Banks/MFS/PSPs/PSOs/Billers/ Aggregators/Regulators
• Lead high-impact strategic projects across the organization
• Develop business models, revenue projections, and financial forecasts
• Monitor regulatory developments affecting fintech, digital finance, payments, and financial inclusion

Educational Requirements

• Bachelor/Honors

Experience Requirements

• At least 10 year(s)
• The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Financial Technology (Fintech) Startup

Experience Requirements

• 10–15 years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
• Proven experience in Fintech/Banking /Digital Financial Services (DFS)/Mobile Financial Services (MFS), Payment Service Providers etc.
• Experience managing large-scale strategic initiatives and cross-functional projects.
• Strong understanding of fintech ecosystem, digital payments, lending, embedded finance, and financial inclusion.
